Our Team

Dan Wulfeck is the founder and president of Cornerstone Craftsmen. Dan has been remodeling and building custom homes under the Cornerstone banner since 1999. A Summa Cum Laude graduate of Northern Kentucky University, Dan earned degrees in Construction Management and Industrial Technology. During college and after graduation, he worked for Fisher Homes and Roth Builders where he received valuable experience in both remodeling and homebuilding. Dan's desire for quality workmanship inspired him to form Cornerstone Craftsmen in 1999 with the goal of providing his clients with the attention to detail they deserve.

Dan's clients say that his constant attention to quality, detail and cleanliness throughout their projects are key reasons why they recommend Cornerstone to others. Whether it is a large custom home or a small bathroom remodel project, Dan provides his clients with the piece of mind that their job will be completed in a timely and efficient manner.

Dan, his wife Laurie, and their children Olivia and Ben reside in Independence.

Chris Wulfeck is Vice President of Cornerstone and has been with the company since January, 2005. He holds a degree in organizational communications from Xavier University and a Masters of Public Administration from Northern Kentucky University. Chris is responsible for the business operations including marketing and sales at Cornerstone.

Chris resides in Cold Spring with his wife Melissa and their daughters Kara and Megan.

Chad Nichols joined the Cornerstone Group in July 2009 as the Chief Technology Officer and General Manager of the Cornerstone Technologies division. Chad oversees all aspects of the Smart Home Integration sales, design, project management, purchasing, installation, and service follow up activities of the Smart Home Integration solutions provided by Cornerstone Technologies. Chad prides himself with providing innovative solutions that maximize the client’s dollar investment for enjoyment over many years. Chad also provides leadership direction on internal Cornerstone Group system process improvements to drive better customer service and management across the company.

Chad previously owned and operated a residential Smart Home technology integration company for 4 years and worked for a major global high tech semi-conductor company for over 13 years focusing on employee productivity information technology solutions. During this time Chad held positions in management, program management, product marketing, product engineering, and supplier management with regular exposure to internet, intranet, collaboration, productivity, information management, wireless networking, and mobility technologies.

Chad resides in Northern Kentucky near Cincinnati, Ohio. Chad grew up in north central Indiana near Lafayette, Indiana. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Purdue University in 1993, attended the University of Phoenix MBA program, and completed other coursework in the Project Management Institute curriculum.

Eileen Junker handles Cornerstone's website and other written materials. She has worked with the Cornerstone Group and its sister companies in various capacities since 1993. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Thomas More College with a degree in History, and enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, reading, hiking, and cooking.
